Chelsea to buy Kingsmeadow from AFC (subject to AFC's plans to redevelop the greyhound stadium site at Plough Lane going through.)
Luckily for Kingstonian they'll get to continue to play at Kingsmeadow (they'd be fucked if AFC just sold it for redevelopment). Chelsea aren't buying it to create a new 70,000 seater stadium closer to
their players and fansSurrey, but for the U21 and Ladies teams to play there.
