What device do you have?. If it is the 800 you need to set the course options for each course .
Sort of like so and ensure turn guidance is on.

Additionally what do you have set in the routing options under system settings, on the 800 you can optimize for bike, car or pedestrian. I have the "lock on road" option set to off.

Hi thanks for the reply. I have the Garmin Touring model. (not touring plus) I cannot find that menu in that pic you posted for some reason??

Because it's vastly different, the Touring model is a dumbed down version of the 810.

Have you updated the map via Garmin Express? did you upload the route into Garmin BaseCamp and sync the Edge Touring with it?
