yes, take the bike, there's some great fun riding to be done. We went earlier this year and weren't there long enough to fly the bikes out so hired road bikes from this place http://www.terradiversions.com/eng/BarcelonaRoadBike.asp . for a bit extra you can get a gps thing (like a shite garmin) which has pre loaded routes you can choose on the basis of length and ft gain

I'm heading to Barcelona in February for 9 days to visit my girlfriends parents, has anyone done any riding in and around Barcelona? Would you recommend taking the bike? And if so, Road or track bike?
