I've been itching for a cycling GPS with navigation for ages now but (partly due to this thread) I can't bring myself to buy a Garmin. Have been considering a Mio Cyclo 315 but there isn't a whole lot of information about them online and I don't know anyone IRL who has one. They had a big 4.0 software update earlier in the year which I gather was pretty buggy (standard) but there's a 4.1 release which I think has ironed out a lot of the problems.

Is there any viable alternative to garmin yet? I've always thought they were seriously archaic both hardware and software wise. There must be a better option..
