  • Naaah, you're thinking of ICBM , different Continental ...
    HTH ;-)

  • Look for local bike stores that have been stocking a lot of Treks for a few years and pop in, I found a pair last year on my 3rd attempt, I think they came out around 2005, I've only ever found the all black ones though the redlines get bought up by the folks at Ratrodbikes pretty quickly,

edit: If you want the Bonty's for an inbred don't bother the 2.4's don't fit 2.2 does fit but feels slow, I built a 20" Inbred geared (pic in this thread http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/248491/ ) earlier this year but the Bonty tyres felt like crap with the long top tube, to speed it up I bought a pair of Panaracer XC PR 2.1's, I know its a semi slick but rides like a slick and made it so much more fun also really puncture proof and very capable for riding dry off road

  • Bontrager SR1s in 1.25" rated up to 100psi, 1.5" up to 80psi - Evans should stock. If you don't like them, they'll take them back.

if you trust their stock estimations. £18 each though

sorry to hijack - but looking for some used/useable balloon tyres- 26 x 2.3-2.5? pm me plz

in 3 years of riding no p*ncture and the names quite apt too !

  • I already mentioned those, slow poke.

  • I run Conti Gatorskins on my mtn bikes, I want a fast ride, but they do slide a bit when a bird pisses on the road !!!

I picked up a flat this morning !!!

  • Well worn racing ralphs work very well on the road.

  • You've changed...

  • No, still the same, that is just Mrs Davros !!!

  • a bit denigrating to refer to her as a 'bird pissing on the road', when clearly she has the manners to urinate into the receptacle she's holding

  • i hope the reference was to

    ◾Phylum: Chordata
    ◾Class: Aves

  • and not
