It would be amazing if just being mindful of your knee is all it takes. The problem is when you get tired or have to focus on something else you are likely to revert to your past form. Hopefully the Physio will have suggested some exercises to strengthen and stabilise the knee, and possibly some stretches too.
It sounds like cleat alignment, wedges and possibly orthotic insoles may help. A Physio who works with cyclists a lot or a bike fitter may be able to help with this.
