  • Nice thanks!

  • Whittaker and Mapplebeck bike shop on Whetley Lane in Bradford was the home of Pennine bike frames as well as the afore mentioned W & M branded frames
Double branding seems to be a thing with Bradford bike shops as Ellis Briggs did the same thing
E B branding and then Favori as their racing brand

  • Price drop!

  • Drop to ?

Or is £300 the dropped price?

  • £300 is the dropped price, may negotiate as I would like to sell it before I go back to uni, but £300 seems fair

  • price drop! £290

  • Missed the end of the eBay auction yesterday but got outbid towards the last minute for £175. Did you just not fancy selling it for that price or were you the winning bidder?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261705893702?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l5997&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI261705893702.N34.S1.R1.TR1

  • The price was too low and I wasn't happy letting it go that cheap, but it was caused by a complication with eBay which caused the problem for me so I wasn't very happy with the outcome and decided it was best to cancel it as £175 was what the frame set cost me about a year ago...

  • Maybe set a reserve price next time instead of fucking over a winning bidder?

  • Knob

  • Ooh. Ouch. Split it mate, you're far more likely to get a buyer for that frame.

Have a bump for a Pennine. Here's mine in the summer.

  • Actually it is against the rules of this forum to sell a bike here if it is being sold anywhere else.

  • Can i come and see it?
    Cheers
    Scott

  • Whilst it was on eBay I put in the description here that it was for sale elsewhere, after it hadn't worked out with eBay I then changed the description again

  • Please don't assume. I didn't disclose what happened as I didn't feel a need to but looks like I'm going to have to, a few days before the auction ended the bike was stolen, it was recovered quite quickly afterwards but when it went I let eBay know to delete the auction but instead they deleted some of the bids because that's apparently what I asked them to do, so naturally I feel cheated out of what it could have gone up to.

  • Yeah sure, I am based in Nottingham

  • Why didn't you just cancel the listing?
