  • I'm going to give the Craft Lobsters my seal of approval - I would seem to have finally found a pair of gloves that keep my hands warm.

Three hours at an average of 2 degrees today and my hands were absolutely fine - my feet, on the other hand...

  • What are these lobster-type gloves like with STI? Can you still easily change gears and brake and all that other fun stuff?

  • I have Specialized Sub Zeros and some Gore lobsters. I have real bother with the Specialized as they're a 2 + 2 finger lobster and while I can brake/steer/grip and shift with the big lever fine with them, I find using the smaller Shimano lever or on my SRAM bike a complete ball ache. They're too bulky, so if I put my finger on the little lever, the glove catches on the big lever, but the bulky glove itself isn't stiff enough to be used to push the lever without my finger to back it up iyswim.

The Gore ones have separate index and middle fingers with just the two little ones lobstered and are much better.
