I was going to post something similar earlier, he's come on leaps and bounds from the player who looked lost at Norwich when he was on loan there and I dismissed him as a workmanlike player only good for the lower leagues, epitome of an English striker, good in the air, no quality with the ball at his feet.
But he's much better than that, not sure if it's just playing week in week out, having won a place in the first team by merit, having the confidence of the manager, playing for the team he supports or just scoring lots of goals, but he's got good feet, is willing to tackle back, can play a pass and scores goals, tap ins, long distance, headers.
He's grown on me.
@Buckaroo, read both my posts, I make it clear we rode out luck and could have shipped goals. We didn't therefore we won the last twenty mins....

There's still a great deal of apathy wrt your posts, Corny...

@cornelius_blackfoot I read your posts dude. I just find winning the last twenty minutes akin to winning the passing etc. The last 20mins flattered you, but FairPlay. Our manager was gutted and yours was suggesting an upswing in form read into that however you want fella.

I watched the united Spurs game. Seems to me Spurs just had more legs than united, who in the second half really tired and Mason should have won the game for Spurs - now he is a player who I really don't thinks any good!

whats that terrible whining noise coming from the kings road ?
-
• #113660
Maybe an echo of the famous anfield roar?
-
• #113661
Is it those famous Tom Daley impersonators who have spent so long perfecting their double half turn pikes that when they do get a slight tap on the shin the ref no longer believes them and shows the almost near mortally wounded chap his own score card?

jose did, before the stoke game, ask referees to be firm, to be strong
whats he moaning about ? -
• #113663
just two short powernaps till we play
got to get 3 points from this game to keep the pressure onwest hamsouthampton -

This is Jose's standard operating procedure. To keep his teams motivated he engenders a siege mentality. He always tries to make out the world is against whatever team he is in charge of, that way the players feel they have something to prove in each game rather than going out, thinking they will cruise it, and letting it slip against the Newcastles, Liverpools and other mid table cannon fodder. He is a cunt, but he's a clever cunt (at least in football terms).
He's got a team that is head and shoulders above the rest but he has to stop them from becoming complacent, 'cos that's the only way they will fuck up the title.

^ City's performance yesterday stank of this.
Anyone heard any rumours of how much AC paid for Torres?
Also, Pardew to Palace is such nonsense. If he goes he is an idiot and honestly (prepare yourself for unpopular opinion) with regard to Newcastle, probably better the devil you know. No one else out there that i can see coming to Newcastle and doing a better job.

So they overpaid?
-
• #113669
They paid his salary in full. Milan don't receive his full salary from Madrid and I'm not sure whether Nando took a pay cut to go back to Atletico.

Good results for Town today, with Brentford losing and Boro drawing. If only the useless fascists in Millwall could have given Bournemouth a bit of a game.
