Kinesis Racelight T winter bike for sale. I just don't get out on this much and I've got a burnin yearnin for a CX bike again. It's the perfect setup if you want to hang your fancy summer bike up for the next 5 months and have decent 28c grippy tyres with full length mudguards.
Frame is 7005 alloy. Pretty comfy for an alloy bike. Full carbon fork (i.e. with a carbon steerer), FSA headset nice n smooth.
Seattube measures 57cm centre of BB to top of seattube. Toptube measure 55.5cm horizontally. Headtube is 15.5cm + its a bit higher than a normal road bike as the fork is 1cm longer to accomodate for mudguard/tyre clearance. It would nicely suit someone between 5'10 - 6ft tall.
Its got Campag Veloce 9-Speed groupset on there. This is the good stuff, none of that cheapy plastic stuff. The groupset is awesome! Chain and cassette have done 1/2 rides. Chainset is a proper ultra-torque one, not a basic powertorque. Proper shifters let you flip a few gears in either direction, and have proper metal internals. The wheels are Campag Centaur hubs, with sealed bearings - perfect for a winter bike as they are very easy to service. Mavic open Pro rims built with DT Swiss double butted competition spokes - a very good winter wheelset - breezing through the potholes! There are a pair of Bontrager Allweather Racelight Plus tyres on there. Plenty of tread and 28c. Full length SKS mudguards.
Long drop brake calipers provide ample clearance for the big tyres+mudguards. There are SwissStop grren brake pads in there, which are the BEST brake pad for wet weather braking. Again, these are as-new. Nraking surface isnt showing any wear signs.
Fizik Antares saddle, again its the top one with Kium rails. Its got as-new matching fizik bar tape on there. 3T Arx Pro stem(ti-bolts on faceplate!) and 3T Ergonova Pro bars. Basic alloy 27.2mm seatpost. Hope bolted seatclamp.
2 x Elite Ciussi Gel bottle cages which match the bike nicely.
I don't live in London anymore, but can be picked up or delivered anywhere in mainland UK. Bike is currently at work, in North Yorkshire. It's always been kept inside. Mechanically everything is spot on. Yep theres the usual scratches etc - its a winter bike! Way better quality bits than buying a basic kinesis build off the peg.
