This would look great with Wound-Ups.
I'm selling my TVT92 GregLemond on eBay, if it goes, I will certainly be in touch!

That was exactly my intention when I bought the frame. I got as far as buying and fitting a pair ...
So now I have a 1" Chris King headset and a new pair of 1" Wound Ups. I'm in two minds about selling the forks or finding something else to fit them to. -

Five hundred and seventy five pounds?
Someone please take it off my hands today and I'll even throw in a quick knee-trembler. -

Please buy my frame for £550 posted, otherwise I am going to drop it into a skip.

If you were looking to sell the wound ups I'd be tempted

This could be the same as Toby.d's bike which is one of the nicest on the forum - inspo for the folk on here!

Got 1" Wound Ups cut to fit the GT and a black King headset.
At this point I could be tempted to sell them ... -
• #12
... probs hopelessly pissing in the wind at this point - and it feels nonsensical asking for £more - but I'd cheerlessly flog the frame with a new pair of 1" Wound Up forks and a black classic King NoThreadSet @ £775 delivered.

I haven't seen one of these for sale since I bought mine about 3 years ago. If you are wavering on this, I would take the opportunity to buy now. They are rad frames, will last forever and seem to usually have to be posted from the US.
p.s cheers Tender, let's ride soon! I'll come to you...

Hi - I am a great fan of this bike and a proud owner of a 60cms GT Edge that I brought back from US. I wondered if I could trouble you to let me know where you got the new-old-stock-decals. My frame is missing a couple.
Best regards
Lawrence

Sir,
The decals on the GT on the thread are from eBay / America.
I'm afraid I've never seen Edge Titanium decals before. You can easily get them for the Aero version on eBay, as long as you're happy to live without the Titanium decals / are happy to trim away the "aero" lettering. -

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I have Ti decal so I will order the set from ebay right away.
Very best

Did you even bother reading the thread?
Hi all
Selling my 55cm GT Forté titanium road frame and Edge fork.
Measurements are:
55cm top tube centre-to-centre;
135mm head tube;
Seat tube is 59.5cm centre-to-top and 54 cm centre-to-centre.
About the bike:
GT Fortés are very similar to the Edge frames. The GT Edge was build in small numbers in the US by framebuilders contracted by GT (not by Litespeed...) and were polished. The Forté was built in Asia and was bead blasted.
I paid through the nose for this frame and laboriously hand-brushed it when it arrived. It took hours and two different types of Scotchbrite. It also has new-old-stock decals and looks very pretty indeed in real life.
The fork came from a different bike and isn't in as nice condition; there's some sticky residue on it (from sellotape?) but will look great with some elbow grease. The threaded steerer is plenty long enough for the frame.
I haven't actually built the frame up since finishing it.
Looking for six hundred quid, and for that I'll include postage.
