  • Kick-Ass on E4 now, nearly finished.

Bit of an odd one, but it's definitely unique.

  • Kick-Ass 2 is a bit like it.

  • I enjoyed 'Frank'. Anyone else seen it?

  • Watched The Interview last night, I lol'd, might even watch it again.

  • The Interview was fun, went a bit Team America at the end but that was OK... Not sure I'll be back for seconds...

The Drop was good, made me feel very sad for James Gandolfini for some odd reason... Penguins of Madagascar is awesome... The Equaliser is preposterous yet fantastic... Er... Can't remember what else I've watched...

  • Third favourable review in a row for The Interview on here, good fun and much better than I was expecting given the press coverage, will be watching again with the family tonight and I'm looking forward to it

  • 'Locke' - Strangely enthraling film about concrete and driving on the M1.

  • I quite enjoyed that, especially Tom Hardy not being a geeza.

  • Anyone watched Annie?

  • Locke was terrific. I was hynotized by the shots of the work site/city at night at the very beginning.

I really enjoyed The Equalizer as well. With the exception of one moment, it was largely what I consider to be an ideal action film (the fight with the moustachio man - I am bored to tears of fight scenes in films. Why I think the new Batmans have all been shit). It's got a bit of the Die Hard about it, although it's trying to be a bit more meaningful.

Also quite enjoyed Fury, but it was a bit odd. Was all of that one day?

    Tonight it's The Interview.

    Hurray for the holidays!

  • Sure. I liked it a lot. I wish they'd set it in the UK as (I assume) the book was but Maggie G was amazing.

  • The Drop was good

    Yeah, I enjoyed that too.

  • I hated it when I seen it at the cinema, just found it completely pointless. Even Fassbender couldn't save it imo

  • The Interview was meh. I wouldn't call it terrible, but it's certainly not very good.

  • The Foxcatcher is not that great. Reminded me a bit of that Liberace movie, not very interesting
    characters or story.

  • .

  • Big Eyes - pretty good, Christoph Waltz phones it in but is the star of the piece, Amy Adams is stilted by her character, not a lot she can do - nice to see Jesse Pinkman's GF Jane (Krysten Ritter) show up, damn that girl is striking looking

  • Enjoyed 71, action + politics. Interested to hear how historically based it is?

  • greatest christams movie ever tolt currently on the tello.

  • some new film info seen before somewhere
    http://www.openculture.com/

  • The Drop might be the best, least festive, Christmas flick ever.

Hardy is good, Ganfolfini is gargantuan.

A dated depiction of money laundering (and Brooklyn bars!) but who cares. Great plot and script.

  • Drop was good and I quite enjoyed the interview too.

  • The Drop may be my favourite film of year.

  • Watched 'Predestination' its a time travel film with Ethan Hawke.
Not too much time travel and an interesting paradox.
    Nothing amazing but entertaining enough
