Well, that's the first of my Festive 500 rides done and I can't remember the last time I cycled into such a brutal headwind.
On a descent I would normally be doing over 50 mph on, I was having to drop to the little ring and pedal just to keep forward motion at about 15 mph.
Still, it was quite a good start and I've got 117 km / 23% out of the way.
I've joined the LFGSS club on Strava so hopefully other members can see my rides.
