  • Hello analogueurs. My dad's passing on an old Olympus to my brother, who is in turn giving it to his girlfriend as a christmas present. Is there a good 'intro to SLR photography' book that anyone could recommend I can buy for her?

  • Hey guys,
Does anyone have a polaroid camera or Nikon FE slur they are selling?

  • Sidi Ifni, Morocco. Bronica ETRSi, Fuji Velvia.

  • Couple more for your perusal. Last one is Tech-Pan 25 pushed to 100 ISO.

  • Those are absolutely stunning. Verging on perfect at times. 1,2,3,6 in particular.

  • man i gotta try some velvia.

  • Great shots. I want an old merc now

  • The Kodak Complete Book of Photography predates digital but covers most of the basics - suitable for an enthusiastic newcomer perhaps? I'm pretty sure it's out of print but you might find a second hand copy in good condition and a similar age to the camera...

    Or for just monochrome:

  • Cheers both, those should be a pretty good for her.

  • okay who here bought it..?

  • Sold locally!

  • those morocco photos are immense!

  • Finished my ektar 100 roll today, thought I had rewound it and it turns out I was just being an idiot and hadn't wound it at all.

I opened the back of the case slightly, I've accepted that the last few pictures as as good as gone, but I'm hoping some of them are okay :'(

  • Turns out it really wasn't so bad, the last few were written off and a few burnt edges, but the rest were fine. Phew!

  • Lovely, so sharp!!

  • Love the one of the organist - someone you know?

  • Cheers guys :)
And noo just the organist at an in-laws wedding, got to the ceremony early and had a nice walk around

  • Any cameras for sale? looking to buy something new.

  • A GW690 version one for £150.

  • Going to the alps in a couple of days, struggling to decide what to bring in the non digital department.

I'll probably just end up bringing the 35ti and MX plus loads of film.

I wanted to bring the auto 110 to ride with but I couldn't find any film at a decent price :/

  • Oh I think I have a few rolls of 110 - won't get to you in time for your trip but PM me your address and I'll put them in the post for you some time if you want them. Basic Fuji 200, I think.

  • Buy some fairly high speed film as there really isn't much snow to reflect light. I also broke my snowboard due to the stones lurking underneath.

  • Finally got some film from my trop to New York this summer developed!
