Your bench will increase as lats play a critical role in the bench press also so do your legs which not a lot of people realise , this is really evident if you watch a powerlifter set up on the bench .

Saying hi here, powerlifting & now kettle bells at home are my exercise pastimes when not cycling.
Working on pull ups ATM, with narrow shoulders and long arms going from 3 to more will keep me busy for sure.
Trying 50 pull up programme, grip has improved, bench has gone up (? but good) and shoulders happier.
