@eyebrows, searched for this thread for information and this is exactly what I had in mind for our new garage. Any more info? What hooks are you using, just something like this or something more bike specific/sturdy? Also, are the rear wheels of the bikes on the floor or are they hanging suspended? I'd guess between my GF and me, that the difference in wheelbase would mean at least some/most would need to be hanging.

I was bored of working, and we've sold the lock-up, so the massive mess needed tidying.
Somewhat takes up the entire basement though.
