At what point do we walk away?
All that is left is a couple of questions about ever having disputes with the neighbours and whether they know of any subsidence issues in this house or surrounding properties plus a couple of indemnities for the removal of walls and installation of windows. These have been outstanding for a month now and I have chased through the estate agent and my solicitor has been chasing theirs direct. He can't sign off on the mortgage without them so we are left waiting and waiting for something that takes a day to sort out. We know from talking to neighbours that there are no disputes or subsidence issues so we're not worried that the failure to answer the questions is because of an issue, it's just slowness by him or his solicitor and we have no idea left on how to move this along bar the nuclear option.
