I'm going to bite the bullet next year and get a Datejust II, I'll be travelling a lot next year and at some point will be in HK and the US.
Where is the best place to buy a new Rolex? By best. I mean cheapest.

Here.

So what does a Rolex Explorer I go for out there then?

Original (smaller) or newer (ChainBreaker sized)?
-
• #14833
Original...
39mm (ref 214270).
-
• #14834
Can you let me know about a new Datejust II?
-
• #14835

Here's a little 1940's Rolex 2784 I picked up recently. Nice oyster case. Cost me £50 for the watch plus £45 for a service as it had previously had a little water ingress:

Cheers boss. Let me know.

Original...
39mm (ref 214270).The original was 36mm and is the better looking case imo.
-
• #14839
True but I can't buy that (new) anymore. I think @bodieanddoyle was referring to the Explorer I or the Explorer II.
-
• #14840
Balls, I didn't realise they'd discontinued the 36mm.
-
• #14841
So what is the ChainBreaker size outta curiosity?

I'd just sell wherever gets you the bet price. No worries whatsoever what you paid for it originally. It's worth whatever someone wants to pay for it. I usually sell on eBay auction and take the slight risk of 99p start and no reserve.
