£60. Definitely worth it so far, they have a bit more room around the knee and thigh (on the back and sides to rid them of that annoying baggy knee that jeans get) and a bit of give all round without looking saggy. They taper quite nicely too. They're relatively warm and are apparently weatherproof to a certain extent, can't really imagine them holding up against anything more than a few drips tbh, although I did spill some water on them whilst washing up and it just wiped off. They have a stash pocket on the thigh where I keep my phone, it could do with being a tad shorter as my phone did rub on my knee a couple of times but nothing too bad.
I also got a North Face Stratos jacket in TK Maxx the other day. Not strictly a cycling jacket but it's a weatherproof soft shell with a slightly longer tail, visor on the hood and big pockets with draw chord hems all round so it'll do the job!
I also bought some Altura Waterproof gloves and a Specialized Chamonix helmet. The gloves fit really (I hate baggy gloves!) but aren't as warm as I thought they'd be which is a shame, they aren't terrible though. The helmet is just a pretty standard helmet, I didn't have one so I picked up the most reasonable/inconspicuous one I could.
That's me pretty much sorted then, it's just a coincidence its all black! Not the best choice but I'll make sure I'm well lit up. I set out to find some gear suitable for cycling that looked 'normal' for a reasonable price and I managed to get some jeans, a jacket, gloves and a helmet for less than a single pair of outlier trousers ;)
how much were they? @Rikki
