The ones i've been to don't have a thread cutter, Condor and BLB only have thread chasers which is a different tool.

The thread chaser will cut new thread but it is hard on the tool and it is not ideal. My prefered solution is pick another headset. What is your stack height needed for the current threaded section.

Yes, i had to go back to using an old C-Record style headset which is what i didn't want to do because the initial idea was to fit modern components.
