I've said I'll build some wheels for a mate and he wants powder coated black spokes, anyone know which companies powdercoat and which anodise their black spokes?

Cross posting in desperation from the wine thread
Christmas first world problem emergency!
My sister has asked me to get a bottle for my dad as I'm down here in the big metropolitan winefug that is London's famous lufguss.
The two choices are either:
Radikon Pinot Grigio 2011 (from Friuli, Italy according to the wine list from a restaurant she photographed, but the internet seems to think it's from Slovenia)
or
Melias Papagiannakos 2010 (some kind of dessert wine from Greece)
I know next to fuck all about wine and it's probably too late to order online. In any case I can't seem to find either on an online shop.
Any idea where would be a good bet to find either of these in London before the 25th? I had a quick google of the big wine shops but most seem to specialise in French wine, AFAICT.
Any help appreciated.

Any of my usual suggestion which also happens to be available in black, so ACI for cheap, DT Alpine III for the majority of general purpose builds, Sapim CX-Ray for aeros.

The brake pivots mentioned in the conversion process here (scroll down): http://www.paulcomp.com/support/centerpull_brakes.html#brazeon
Can they be bought from anywhere and not Paul Comp? And where?

Laithwaites or vinopolis in borough market followed by berry brothers and Rudd on St James would be my first ports of call.
Edit: thinking about it, if you try berry brothers without success, fortnum and mason might be worth a try.

Just go down the local offy and grab whatever is on a 3 for 2, more booze is obviously better than nice booze.
-
• #65364
I was going to suggest that area, there's both Laithwaites and Vinopolis, plus at least one wine merchant on the market itself, and an excellent Oddbins on the corner of Duke St Hill and London Bridge.

Thanks for your help. I found the pinot on Yottam Ottolenghi's online shop and thegreeklarder.co.uk confirmed they have the Melias in stock as well. Double win.

Someone posted a link to a website before that was for companies to buy/sell office furniture. Anyone remember what it is?

Is there a bolt with a 15mm head I can use instead of the stupid alan key bolts for my female hub axle?

What thread size? The answer is still probably no, since 15mm AF isn't a normal nut or bolt head size. What are you finding particularly stupid about Allen key screws? If it's the inability to apply enough torque without damaging either the socket or the driver, Torx is the answer. If it's a rear hub, chain tugs are the answer, I have no trouble with my M6 hub retaining screws, because the chain tugs handle the chain tension so I only need to apply 6-8Nm to the screws to hold the wheel in the bike.

Find a person with a lathe and am sure they can knock you one up.

I don't know :(
But the wheel I purchased off rogan weighs considerably less than my halo, and I can't swap the axle out of the stupid hub to one that takes nuts.
The alan key nuts seem a bit cheese like, they won't last long. And I want the wheel to look like it's bolted in with traditional track nuts. -

Hang on, aren't track nuts 15mm?

Yes, but that's cycling weirdness. Normal M10 nuts are 17mm AF, normal M8 screws are 13mm AF. In order to use the peanut butter wrench for both track nuts and crank bolts, special cycling nuts and screws are made with odd sizes.
You haven't answered the question; what's the thread size of the screws which you don't like?
Thomson elite seatpost, with what seems to be a standard clamp - compatible with a carbon railed Specialized Romin Evo pro?
I have loosely fit the saddle into the clamp and everything seems to sit right and the rails a flush with the grooves in the clamp. The guy in the shop was convinced it would be fine but I'd like to double check.
