I suppose we will find out if Sagan is the next big thing or if he has a Valverde-like talent for losing races. I actually think Kwiatkovski is a more interesting rider and person than Sagan.

News just in...valverde seems to have a high opinion of himself, and will continue wheel sucking his way to nearly winning the worlds and trying hard to stay really close to any wheel which is in front of him during the tour for as long as he can...sounds like the kind of story Ocelot Gruber could lend some insight to! @ùbér_grùbér

Wigging signs for Sky until end of April (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cycling/30681392)
Seems like a weird period to have your contract run to, which suggests he's off after P-R to...? I have to admit I'm not familiar with the way Pro Tour teams can buy and sell contracts. Is there a transfer window.

wheel sucking, though often despised by romantics among cycling fans, is a tactic that any pro who wishes to one day win something should have in his bag.

off to team Wiggins, apparently!

There is a transfer window that begins on the 1st of August, but what that really means is that teams announce who'll be joining them the following season. It's very rare that anyone moves teams during the season, with Rohan Dennis' move from Garmin to BMC last year being the only one I can think of. Pettachi tried when he left Lampre but I think the UCI blocked that.
Wiggins is leaving Sky to join a new team, which will be at least one level below the World Tour and the rules allow for a rider to move down a division during the season.

Surely he doesn't have a chance at PR? Sagan/Sparty must be reading all the pre PR wiggo hype with open arms thanking fuck someone might take their eye of man-marking them all race.
