Got a used one of these for my wife to use as beater/commuter:
According to seller, there were "no issues" apart from maybe a slightly rough HS. Otherwise ready to ride. It arrived the other day so I tore it apart to check everything, as I'm changing some things ie shimergo-ing it etc. Behold the amazing skills of its former owner.
Clever alternative cable use
Clever use of water inside frame to lubricate BB
The bars were expertly wrapped with custom finishing tape
And the stem bolts had been upgraded to custom IKEA screws with custom soft steel. Fortunately I had the special custom tool (power drill) to remove them.
Not to mention custom special ungreased hubs and worn out brake pads/rotors etc etc etc
At least I'll have something to do for a couple of weeks. Sigh....
