Shame.
I've got a bit of a thing for Alan's, but they do seem fragile.
Victory is god, under-rated stuff too.

aye, you're right there Jim, they are fragile, had an earlier one which was unusual as it had the flatend/ovalised tt that was used on the cx's
the ht had a crack, they seem vulnerable to cracking from vibrations
i allowed into stable becuse of linage to colnago, like the 82-83 merckx
i'd allow a late 70's early 80's de rosa or/and pogliaghi in on these grounds
deleted
alan build suffered a set back, hairline cracks at stay tips and the left tip has cracked through, meaning it separates, exposing the bolt attaching to seat post
frame cost practicaly nothing, and combined with a used victory gruppo, was intended as a beater/commuter
i will see if i can get the stays welded, as i think it would be a shame to bin it
