nice bike man.
coaster brake with drops bars seems incongruous to me, but that may be just me.

11 months... that's the way! I get the components slowly month by month. The budget was low... LoL
Hello from Portugal.
I've been arround reading and learning from all of you.
I want to share with you one of the bikes that i "made".
I ride since 4 years old. My first bike was a BMX 16".
At 9 my grandpa gave me a SS 27" with mudguards and a rear rack and was my daily bike to school and rides till 20 when some suckers stole it from a city parking. I use to do some crazy MTB with her in early 90's. In 98 i bought a real MTB: a Sunn Xircuit, i still ride her to the limit actualy. She's repainted and renewed... but i was missing that SS! In Portugal we call it "saudade"!
I put hands to work I bought a cheap road bike from a nacional constructor and i dismounted her, repainted her and rebuild her with some new components and others recovered.
I hope you enjoy the SS01. By now with coaster brake and with 52x18T.
I am using her to go to work and for daily stuffs, though not ideal but before i start with the new road bike project (R.UN01) i also use her to training when i can't go to forest and mountain tracks on MTB.
I will soon present you my R.UN01, she will be a Columbus all black road bike made by my alterego COXE
You can see some things i'm doing on my blog with bikes: http://www.vermelhossangue.blogspot.pt/search/label/bikes
