  • Its your desision.
If youre going for the identical frames look (bar the top tube, I presume) then im totally with you on it.

  • Fork on the lo pro is too brutal and awesome to pass on, the ivan drago of lopros

  • this is exactly my goal.

few years ago i've seen a picture of two similar white faggin pursuit, it was quite popular i presume. let's say it was my inspiration, you get the idea.

  • I've always wanted to do that. Itll look so nice when done. One of my favs here

Probably shouldn't be turning this into the matching bikes thread but hope to see yours there soon.

  • These guys even look like twins.

I hope to build wheels today, if I'll get some nice spokes.

  • just finished wheels. looks nice i guess.
waiting for the new fork ;)

  • got it, i was going to put this gold fork in my everyday bike, but decided to use it in lopro. it's gold, powder coated, stearer to long, but after painting will fit perfectly. i think.

  • Noice. Followed.

  • Can't you use it as a 1" ahead?

  • ee, say it again? no it's not?

  • Is that a 650 front wheel? And how are you gonna get the threads lower down to mount the headset?

  • no, it's 700c.
i will thread it and then cut the rest? c'mon, there is tool for this kind of work.

  • I was just wondering. I just have never seen a threading tool for tubes larger than 30mm and assumed they were hard to come by.

  • 700c fork replaceing 650c fork??? Why?

  • It was 700c.

  • yep. that's the one.

  • Nice geo/clearances!
Are you going to paint it the same color as its brother?

  • yes, same colors and decals scheme.

i was going to sand fork, but decided to leave it, powder coat is pretty solid, i think is the best base before wet painting, so i will matte the surface and crown, then put thin layers of paint.

i hope to paint f&f before christmas.

  • What kind of equipment do you use to paint the bikes?

  • regular airbrush & spray gun. nothing serious, but effects are sufficient.

  • Using powder coat as a base isn't a good idea since it covers the edges of the crown and makes them dull. Sandblast it first.

  • yeah i know. done already.

  • Any updates?

  • actually don't have much time for these.
however both almost done, i'm waiting only for sugino seatpost for tt frame (which i'll change in the future for nito 66sp), and new saddles cover.
