  • fair play, thanks for the link highlighting the two/three
    perhaps not max then, can't see the seat tube being that stiff with all this triple tubed shenanigans

  • Since the title of the pictures describes it as 'cromo', it won't be max, which is made of nivacrom.

  • the comment i made related to this picture, which has no title , as stated, it was a random guess
    so this point is invalid imo as it relates to the flickr picture you added later

    jog on smartarse

  • Sheesh, I wasn't trying to undermine you, just providing more information. I wasn't making a 'point'. Why the sudden shift of tone from this

    fair play, thanks for the link highlighting the two/three

    to this

    jog on smartarse

    ??? Maybe your evil twin has hacked your account. Anyway I think the whole seattube situation on that bike is over engineered and probably uses alot more material and is therefore heavier for no reason other than moving the rear wheel 5mm forward. So I'll will jog on, as jogging will be quicker and more efficient than riding that bike which is too small for me anyway and jogging exercises the core muscles better even if it is harder on the knees. Nice parquet floor tho.

  • jog on then

  • Either way:

    • bar tape AND cables;
    • rear brake lever;
    • rear brake pad;
    • s'angle;
    • b'angle;
    • front QR;
    • rear derailleur cable housing.

    And what is that bottle cage all about?

  • i also find the headtube angle strange
    and , would this frame be susceptable to the same fate as the colnago bi titan? eg, the bititan had twin dt's, which for want of a better turn of phrase, fought against each other rather than directing energy to wheels, which led to the frame cracking

  • Maybe some of these weird features are the result of someone trying to design a bike for a very small person.

    You have to be careful jogging on those old floors they come loose

    Oh by the way it says 'cromo' on the chainstay

    runs away

  • arguing in the pretty pictures thread>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • As @winnifred1849 said, I put those pedals (yes, ugly pedals) just because I built this bike as a slow, hi-viz, cheer up commuter machine and general cruiser for London streets.
    Yes I know, I am a bit of a wanker :)

  • lol. As soon as I read the above comment from @winnifred1849 about the pedals, I thought, yeah that makes perfect sense.

    I posted your Montello because it's a stunner - great job on the restoration. And oh boy, those Deltas are gorgeous - I hope they work well enough?! As for the pinkness, I really wasn't sure when I first saw it, but now I LOVE it.

  • Cheers! The front is pretty powerful, the rear a little bit less... still they manage to slow down my 70kg.
    Glad you liked it!

  • So... speedplay then

  • quit yer 'Naggin

  • Those hubs!

    That shifter!

  • That pedal.....
    That tape.....

    Lovely, nonetheless!

  • bro do you even head tube angle

  • just steep, init

    tbh as a build it's not doing much for me.. kinda looks like something Hot Wheels would put together, but i can appreciate the 'hip hop value' so to speak

  • if only it was Record!......lovely bike all the same, Gilliot too.

  • Yeah and the flames on the top tube doesn't help.
