• Polis tapped on my shoulder whilst transitioning through Temple Meads. I've gone through that station a thousand times and generally carry my bike on my shoulder, but apparently I had almost clobbered someone with it, and he asked me to put it down. I was putting on my helmet at the time so rather passive-aggressively said 'alright' and continued to carry the bike. He continued to mumble some health and safety lecture at me as I continued to carry the bike, only putting it down as I reached the door.

During this time he pointed out I had almost clobbered someone for a second time, but only because he was talking to me and I turned towards him, in an ironic twist.

So do you have to do what the Polis say in those situations? It wasn't illegal, there are no signs saying bikes must be pushed not carried, I've never clobbered anyone and I would hope most people have the sense to stay a yard or two behind someone carrying a bike.

  • In a station there's more danger tripping over those cunty roll along suitcases that cunts tow along behind them like a little cunty trailer. Cuntily sitting sub eye-level, perfectly designed to trip you over. Bet po-po never have a go at any of the cunts cunting about with them.

  • He was a proper jobsworth. He kept repeating it, I think because I was so disinterested.

  • Haven't they just banned those in Venice because of just that, people tripping over into the canal and the noise they make. Prob also some bull about them wearing away the granite paving slabs too though lol
