    tl:Dr of this thread is, if you are after a starter bike to get into cycling then foffa is one of many similar, standard options. While a bit overpriced, they look ok and would be a decent way to get into cycling if you don't know anything about bikes. If you want a de Rosa, then this isn't the brand for you

  • So you're saying they're overpriced compared with equivalent bikes, but you'd rather let someone who doesn't know any better get blindly ripped off, rather than making it clear a Foffa is not a good deal?

    Why do you hate newbies so much?

  • Slightly overpriced but then so is tons of entry level stuff. it was worth paying for the people I know who have bought foffas as they got a lot of joy out of them. It's a decent entry level brand that doesn't deserve this opprobrium.
