De Rosa Titanio XS

  • Howdy from Australia gents.

I've recently overhauled my Titanio XS, with the intention of balancing cost, weight and aesthetics. Most of my bikes are old and steel, but I had the chance to pick this frame up second hand a few years back and it is the one concession to modernity in my little harem.

The initial build was a little hasty and left something to be desired:

But over the last year I've switched to tubulars, trimmed weight from the cockpit and - just today - got my hands on the seatpost to finish the build off:

I'm happy with the end product, but looking for pointers or considerations I may have overlooked. I'm also toying with the idea of de-decaling the 'XS' signage from the drive side, but not sure if that's a good idea or not - opinions welcome.

    Cheers,
    Matt

  • perfect. Although gumwalls would be cool, maybe different cages if you're being picky.

  • i see nothing to change.

  • I'd change the wall for something more plain. Love the classic bars on this.

  • Great build - looks awesome.

  • De Rosa Titanium seatpost on eBay

But you don't want that. Your bike is awesome. That wall needs some work though.

  • Nice but needs moar seatpost.

  • Cheers for the feedback guys, looks like I'm in the market for a new wall. And perhaps some Corsa SC's once I've worn out the current tubs.

    Leave the decals alone?

  • Lose the seat & top tube decals
