• Pads might be hard to come by for Mags unless you go to an MTB specific shop, and even then... The £6 sintered ones on eBay or from Superstar are good in my experience.

    Thing is, they should be self adjusting for pad wear, so even if you are down to the backing plate the bite point will be the same. It sounds like they need a bleed or need to be 'mobilised'.

    It could be that. It does look like the pads touch the disc unevenly.

  • Could be;

    • the pads is so worn out that the auto align does not work.
    • rotor slighty warped.
    • calipers not lined up to the rotor properly.
