I know this all happened nearly a month ago. but I thought I'd put my two-penneth in in regard to the whole, mysogynist posting, banning and moderator whatnot in the ladies forum.
- no-one actually reported anything to myself or poots (the other mod at the time) - I actually found out about this whole affair from talking to someone at a party on Friday..
- @bothwell is right in that, the existing mods don't spend lots of time on the forum because by an large it polices itself. I see some things and I act on them, but I can't act on things I dont see.
- I kinda wish someone would have just PM'd me - which is what I believe I posted on the 'guidelines' post when we first started this forum.
- I'm more than happy for there to be other mods - (like really happy), - but I think its for the members of that forum to decide who they are not @edscoble and for the existing mods to at least be consulted/informed at the time.
- I just feel a little blindsided by this whole thing.

@bothwell and @hats you are both mods on LFGSS Ladies.
You can edit posts, delete posts, close/open threads, etc.
General advice: Don't do any of these things. All powers are to be used in exceptional circumstances.
You can also ban, go to the "Who is allowed to access this forum" page, and you'll see a banned group at the bottom. If you edit that group and add someone, they will be banned and the forum will disappear for them.
Do not edit any other permissions (or else!)
