Perhaps Liverpool should employ Eddie Howe?

As for LFC...looks like the the club is still deeply fucked...prepare for leaks and counter leaks all over the media (James Pearce has dropped some bits in the Echo recently).
BR talked of Mario not playing for LFC. Two weeks later MB is pointing at the This is Anfield sign in a Std Chartered/Warrior shirt with the lfc crest....
BR talked of seeing his teams as 11 players, not 10 plus a keeper which, points to a Loriis type goalie. Nothing in Mignolet's history suggests he was ever that type. At the same time we let Pepe Reina- one of the best distributors on the continent go and warm someone else's bench. SM is the worst flapper I've seen when in possession, playing center halves/fullbacks straight into trouble with his roll outs.
We paid £20m...yes TWENTY FUCKING MILLION for Sakho. He ain't getting played.
Gerrard's been leaking stuff in the media about contract issues. Raheem is looking like a rat jumping off a sinking ship, leaking several bts via his agent. This is just some of what's going on.
BR said he didn't wanna work under a DoF yet agrees to a committee where he has no power of veto.

Yup, I totally forgot... Belated greetings... X

Yes, belated happy birthday Festus.

Brad Jones just ain't that good. Even an out of form mignolet is better than Jones. He's only at Liverpool to fulfil the home grown quota.

Many happy returns Festus.

Not a bad goal.

good win last night, showed some real zip and hunger. Even though the midfield and back four were shuffled still felt like a strong side sent out there.
Chadli's popping up with goals and seems to have settled in. Dembele when we play him has now been positioned further forward so is spending more time getting at the opposition defence rather than protecting ours.First goal was pretty soft, but bentaleb did well to contort himself to get a foot on it. Vorm looked like a pretty decent back up, hopefully meaning we'll be putting friedel out to pasture if we haven't done so already. Vorm can play more like lloris than friedel ever could...
Rumours that some middle eastern teams are interested in Adebayor, not sure we can let him go mid season as although soldado's scored a couple recently, he even made his tap in difficult last night, we'd be super thin up front without a replacement...
Anyway burnley on the weekend hopefully this result has given the players the impetus to kick on and impose themselves...

For some reason I started thinking about Paolo Montero today.

Seems good, he holds the record for the most red cards received by a player in Serie A history.
I didn't copy and paste this from the guardian. -

This is a photograph of a Division One clash between Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion on 13 October 1951. Chelsea lost the match 3-1 in front of 34,917 fans and went on finish fourth from bottom in the table as Manchester United were crowned champions.
