Hipster tax innit. It'll be cheaper when it becomes more widely available.

I don't know why they are asking £20 for postage, as they are based in Italy...

Didn't realise it was new, explains why Chicken don't list it.

Reckon the Parallax tape would be better with the fade going the other way.
-
• #1206
You'd have to start wrapping from the top, for that. The pattern starts at one end of the tape and then stops part way down.

I don't mean the way it's wrapped, I mean the way that it's designed/manufactured.
To go the standard way of a fade from black to sparse pattern that gets denser until it ends up almost solid white. Rather than black with a sudden transition (with ugly end to the pattern) to white and then the pattern dispersing back to black.

I really like this technique of wrapping. The colours also work quite well together though maybe too subtle. Similar to this by @ùbér_grùbér:

Shame about that black tape.

was a while ago but I seem to remember the black tape was there to hold it in place whilst I sneakily glued the end bits to make sure they didn't come loose after spending an interminable amount of time and effort to get the fuckers looking like that.
I then was too skint to finish the project... sniff.

Pink/white bike looks holographic.. please say it's holographic.

Will soon be wrapping some Belleri Porteur bars with clb levers(regular, not reverse) in black velox tape.
Should porteurs only be wrapped to the levers or to the stem?
Wife's other bike is wrapped to the stem on porteurs which is nice as it means I can use the fronts of the bars if I borrow her bike. This bike is a proper trad club racer I've put porteurs on so we can both use it with just a change in saddle height.
Or should I be using nos period correct grips instead(bike is a 1959 club racer with a mix of english/french bits) of wrapping with tape? -

Looks like stem - bars, but then it has a shellac coating so won't unravel in the sprints...
-
• #1222
Hmm cheers for that, wish I could get some reverse CLB cos they look ace but prices are pure madness.
Not sure about the look of a short tape job. Think I'll do 2 layers or streetgoth harlequin to the stem. Like the old rubber Rudge bullet grips but they're tough on the hands. -
