They're hardly big, skinner than the SRAM hood that's for sure.
It's the cheapest full hydraulic system you can get, and outperform the most expensive cable disc.
Brakeset including rotor and adaptor is under £200.
It also transpired that you can replace the TRP calipers with a Shimano MTB one, thus finned pads.

I echo this, they're the best of all cable system, but not going to be as perfect as a full hydraulic system.
@spotter why not Hylex with bar end shifter? They're much cheaper.
