So 1st stage of this project the DREADED DISMANTLE. (heavy heart)
Then will box the frame and fork off , so that i can bring it with me when I fly back to the UK.
The frame will be going to a great guy who i believe is on here.
I am sure its going to a great home :`(So all broken down, clean up the parts as most of them will be used for the new frame, but maybe with a few changes.
But thinking what to do with my Busyman Ostrich leather Nagasawa seat. Ah will see in time. :)

But thinking what to do with my Busyman Ostrich leather Nagasawa seat.
Sell it with the bike, or sell it on it's own.

Wow a Bishop think this will be the first on the forum. Looking forward....

If I have to keep in suspense until it arrives now. Then I will let you guys join me also.
Hopefully continuing soon

Not sure if this is the case. My friend Leigh (formally of the Newcastle sub forum) got her Bishop track frame delivered to her by Chris Bishop whilst she was living in Newcastle a couple of years ago.
Whilst that Nag is gorgeous, looking forward to seeing what the Bishop is like. After speaking with Chris and seeing what he did with Leigh's track frame, I've always said that if money allowed, I'd be calling him up for a frame. Good luck with the build!

+1 @zaurbek - had briefly heard Bishop mentioned but never saw the prices. The builds on the site look stunning - looking forward to seeing pictures of yours!

Yeah thanks guys.. what with christmas postage etc, it will take a bit. But cant wait to get it.
For style it is more on the conventional side compared to some of the frames he has done but Chris`s work is amazing. Will keep this thread updated. -

any news on this?

Its been busy setting up my store, but in the next couple of weeks i will finally get around to this build......... finally.

ok, so before i got my build started, Chris posted the photos of the frame in a temp set up. He asked me if he could keep the frame for a photoshoot before sending it out. So probably you`ll have seen the frame by now then. I kind of like the build that he has there (general feeling if not the parts themselves)
So my current thinking is either using the nitto parts and sugino crank i already have (more retro) or going full 7400 dura ace (with a nice black dura ace chainring i picked up)
Any thoughts? also very very open on the wheels as i managed to sell the araya/phil wheelset.

Fucking beautiful!

Oh so it's yours frameset, congrats man! Modern classic, with some very nice details, it can only get better with age... Bishop is cool, also nice collab with Victoire hubs.
I think I would go with Nitto/Sugino.

Congrats!!! Absolute porn frameset. Full DA7400 is definitely more classy than Nitto + Sugino. The Suntour cranks look great on the temporary set up as well, maybe the full Suntour gruppo? For the wheels something silver; DA, Suntour, or maybe even Suzue Pro Max (for extra disco), Bishop x Victoire (matchy-matchy) Hubs on something like Wolber TX Profil, Profil 18, HPS Polished TB14s?

DA7400 is proper, but there's something about Nitto and Sugino simplicity.
Rims, black TB14s.

ok update on this also. IGNORE the wheels. Just the only set i had laying around and really looks crap on this bike. But fitted the parts i took off the Nagasawa along with a Dura Ace seatpost and Kashimax Aero saddle.
So put on the Sugino/drillium crank which I had originally planned to use on this build but TBH i am not sure it works. Seems to fight a bit with the frame? Well going to wait until I get the wheels and then decide more on the parts to use.
For wheels i am looking at a set of Araya Aero 1
s, or Campagnolo Omega
s both in dark anodised (something like that anyway) and lacing them up to silver hubs, also TBD.The more i look at the build bishop put together for the photoshoot, the more i like its simplicity. hmmmm.

Looks so nice, cockpit especially.
Regarding the crank I would just change the chainring to a black more simplistic one. -
• #21
That is a divine build. The contrasting ST and HT....oh my
-
• #22
the only spare one i had around, and not sure if you`d call it more simplistic but agree on the black at least. ( Campagnolo drillium 51t Anodised Black)

Yeah. Black certainly looks much nicer IMO. It goes with the grips and saddle.

Did anything come of this?
Well got a lot of projects up and coming but first on the cards is this.
Since RELUCTANTLY selling my Nagasawa I will be building up a newly acquired Bishop track frame.
Nagasawa as she was
