Interesting, thanks. The trucker forks have a stupid 'lip' at the dropout that gets in the way if I flip the axle mounts. Figured I'd try some steel plate before before butchering the ones that came with it. I'll try and re-make the supports and replacing the fork crown strut in the new year and see if that fixes it.

As do the forks of my Straggler. I purchased these from SJS which do the job superbly and look exceptionally neat when cut down nicely.

Mine seems slightly stiffer, possibly. It's hard to say as the only time I noticed it previously was when i had a rack bag and panniers and then it was more a backwards and forwards movement from the support that runs to the crown. My girlfriend just got one of these and they now come with a much heavier gauge support, so If she lets me, i'll swap mine out as i guess it'll be stiffer.
Oh also, I didn't need any adaptors to fit it to the fork eyelets, just flipped the axle mounts upside down.
