  • Bought one of these about 6 weeks ago.
At full price, yeah there are other burr grinders that are better (defo if you are grinding for an espresso portafilter type machine), but if drip/cafetierre/osmosis are your thing, get one!

Main reason for me buying it, its really small, quick and quiet. 5-6 seconds gets me 12 grams at drip'able size of grind. We have an extremely limited kitchen, the only surface is a 800x800mm unit jammed between sink and hob. So it had to be a small grinder (its smaller footprint than my hand grinder used to be, and quieter/less annoying) and the cable tucks away under it making for a really neat and tidy install.

The hopper also has a very solid silicon seal on it, so leaving it full of beans isn't killing puppies.

Retail is about £130? You can get them online for ~£80 all day, Costco have them for £65 posted at the minute, only in red, but thats the best colour ;)

Just be careful with buildup of oils in the hopper/burrs, that's the main reason good cafés empty them out and clean them daily. Too long and the oils go rancid.
