Yes, less buzz, but it also handles lumps and bumps much better, I always had the feeling that the straight ones transmitted the shock straight up my arms.
The groupset is silver SRAM Rival, with a x5 rear mech to handle the large range

Definitely, more responsive and much more comfortable.
