To be honest. I like the idea of buying something like that, but I would also like to own something from new, with a warranty. I don't really want something that I have to open up and modify, or get serviced - I already have enough of that with bikes!
I don't really want something second hand - I just want something slightly better than a Classic which will last a long time. We also have limited worktop space in our kitchen and quite a low max height, which rules most commercial machines out.

Cool - well let me know.

As for what you go for next, modding a gaggia is fun, but it would be much nicer to just have something that can produce a consistent shot without having to modify....there's nowt consistent about my gaggia, though I'm sure that will change when I lower the output pressure and fit a pid...

Would anyone be interested in going in on an order for a set on Inker Luna Flat White cups and saucers?
http://www.machina-espresso.co.uk/collections/cups-and-glasses-inkers-cups/products/inker-luna-mint-green-flat-white-cup-saucer-6oz
I'm only after a pair, but there is a fairly big price break when ordering 6 (£28 for 2 inc postage, would be a few pence shy of £15 all in for a pair if I can find buyers for the other 4).
Colour would have to be agreed upon, I'm swaying towards either mint or orange.
Could also be persuaded into a matching set of espresso's to go with them.
Collection can be arranged from Kings Cross or Holborn.
Cheers,

Steve's coffee from Bella Barista is very, very good. I've only tried the Gaslight Espresso Blend, and the Brazilian Daterra so far. The espresso blend is just exactly what an espresso blend should be; perfectly balanced, and in this case neither too dark or too light. The acidity is muted to a nice level, and it's really sweet too. Also found it worked well in the Aeropress.

Can anyone recommend a V60 / pour over set up w/ a decanter.

Doesn't the coffee get cold very quickly in these things?

Saw the Hario copper v60 and pouring jug today. Nice looking, but pricey.

Coffeehit used to do a really nice set with a ceramic v60 on top of a glass server, came in a nice box. Their new website is baffling though so not even going to attempt it on my phone.
Re: coffee going cold in the server, I guess it's meant more for 3 or 4 cups at a time rather than for one person to come back to for refills. Wouldn't want to keep good coffee for too long anyway, even if insulated.

What the failed embedding of those two gifs was trying to say was thanks. I'm chuffed that you both like it :)
