No worries, I'm sure you could arrange a courier, I got the impression that he was selling it on behalf of his son in law or something so he might be a bit more flexible away from ebay.
Let us know if you get it, Chorus 11 would look great on it, they're properly stiff (imo)frames so much fun would be had from it!

I was wondering what this fram would look like with 50mm Deep Crabons!
I'm eagerly waiting to see what it's going to look like! disgunbegood.gifIt took me a while to find a nineties Triple triangle, it took me 18 months with the usual Gumtree alerts in France and in the UK to find one, but it was completely worth the wait.

Bit of a teaser......
[url=https://flic.kr/p/nPNZDA]
I picked it up from the shop just before track league last night, Jimbilly smashed it out in two hours for me, after I'd predictably, forgotten to give him the rear mech hanger. This meant he had to delay starting the job and we both didn’t want the frame hanging around for another week while he's off spannering/racing next week.
I also chipped the paint dropping an Allen key on it in the workshop, which is unsurprising given my track record, but a good thing because it’s a tiny, tiny mark on the inside of the seat stay, and an even better thing because now I've broken the paint duck, I won’t feel so bad when I chip it properly.
In other breakage news I've broken the Ritchey crabon seat post already. The bonding between the tube and the base of the seat clamp has failed which made the rushed ride to HHV quite entertaining, and is also why the bike is hanging by the bars and not the seat post in the photo. I've swapped it out for a black alloy one off my old track frame for now.
I've only ridden it from BC - HHV then HHV - Pub - Home, but I already feel like I used to on it, It makes me smile and it feels like it really suits my riding style. It’s like I've just picked the dog up from the kennels after along trip away, we're both very, very happy to see each other.
So it’s got a long way to go then. Things to be done:[Cut Steerer
Flip stem
Choose bottle cages
Send seat post back
De-sticker rims
De logo Stem & Bars
Think about a black chainset
Think about black/silver finishing touches, seat post collar etc. This is dependent on chainset colour I reckon.
Don’t break anything else.
Give Jim his pedals back.....
Ride the fook out of it.I'll hopefully get some of the above done tonight.

The stem was down this afternoon (I was allowed to hold the hover and definitely not the saw) and I added the old bottle cages as a temporary measure. I've also put the original seat tube clamp on too as I think it evens out the silver of the Record headset up the front. I've also put the original down tube cable mounts on, purely because they look like tiny pyramids.
I need to find my bag of spacers as a slightly smaller one will look better to my mind, than what I've got on now. I Also peeled off a warning sticker from the front wheel to see what the adhesive is like.....its a nightmare and requires the sort of patience I don't have, so I'll be raiding Mrs Beards nail varnish remover bottle, if i decide to take the lot off. Really not sure though.
I'm really enjoying having it back and I'm very much looking forward to giving it a proper shakedown on the club run on Sunday.

Nice. The only thing I'd do is take a file to the rear welds
-

It's a fair point about the welds, Wharry mentioned it up there ^ and it did make me think I'd missed a trick. Made me realise I quite like the hint of industrial brutality they bring to the frame, buts that probably just what growing up in the north does to you.

it looks rad! Congrats on an awesome build!
Still need crabon chainset IMO but excellent nonetheless. -

Really really good job ecobeard. Echoing the welds sentiment, but oh well, just enjoy it!

I don't like the stickers on the rims, but other than that it's nice!

Cheers all ^
I've done about 100 miles on it now and its so much fun to ride, god I love it!!
The frame is as stiff as remember and it takes no prisoners. It's like not my steel frames that give you some lee-way, a sort of "Oh go on then, I've got you covered", when you put the hammer down or chuck them into a corner. This just throws it all back at you, "Come on Fatty, have that!". Its a very direct, fast ride and the carbon forks and wheels make it fantastical responsive.
I've fettled it a bit more too, de-stickered the rims and put another carbon post on it. Unfortunately, as theres now loads of exposed carbon, I want a carbon/black crankset, as suggested by a few folk further up the thread.....it'll have to wait though, unless someone has anything suitable they want to swap for the Record one on the bike atm?

Right, here we go, I'm selling this (frame and forks only) as next year I'm making an honest women of Mrs Beard, er, if you know what I mean...so in the spirit of the institution we've come to a compromise on bike numbers.
We've agreed that we can have 3 each, I'm taking that to mean '3 in the house' and I never got my maths GCSE so I'm going for 3 and frame. This does mean that I can really only have 1 road bike, and as the Serotta trumps this, this has to go sadly.
I'll be moving most of the kit onto the Serotta so thats why its a frame and forks only sale.
PM over dibs, inspections welcome, collection in SW4/SE1 (collection at Brixton Cycles or HHV can also be arranged easily)
TT - 58cm ctc
ST - 58cm ctc (62cm ctt as the ST extends above the TT)
HT - 19cm
I'll create a proper sales thread this evening.
Thanks dude!
Have messaged him... Pick up only ball ache though.
I have the chorus 11 speed stuff I took off my BMC lying around... been on the look out for one of these to put it on for a fun winter/less expnsive bike.
