Er..to get my kids into the Xmas spirit, I'd like a small set of classy, white outdoor lights in our front garden tree. I have no permanent outdoor mains supply nor do I want to drill holes in the house. How do I supply power?

Flat two core cable thru the window, there is normally enough "give" on the rubber seals to accomodate this with the window closed. Keep the transformer inside so that it is low voltage going to the outside.
