Are you a car driver?
Many non-manufacturer car service/repair shops will buy lube oil in 220l steel drums,
and,
are only too willing to give them away.
('Give' = not pay for disposal).
(I also have a couple od the sturdy blue plastic drums that formerly held anti-freeze
as rain butts here at mespilus mansion). -

I just cut up a motor oil drum with a tiny with dregs inside and it was fine...
Made a smoker on weds night for sodo pizza in clapton

The going rate seems to be about £350 (judging by ebay/google) for a proper oil drum bbq/smoker..
i'd do it for £175 finished as above
