Just ride it and monitor it and call it a beater. If you are scared of hurting yourself... dont I guess.
Are you really heavy / bumpy rider?
If it cracks i predict the rear wheel will start rubbing / stop.
Put a known good wheel in and check the frame is straight.
Also, i've read that if a dent is less than a quarter of the tubes circumference and has no sharp edges / creases and the tube is straight you are generally 'OK'. YMMV.
