Only just noticed this thread.
Here's my commuter, aim was to build something indestructible. Feels solid as a rock, quick and tons of grip.

That's awesome. Looks like it'd be fast as fuck on the descents.

Hah, thanks, it's got a different cassette now to be honest. Not too many hills here.
-

That looks insane. Paint it black and it'd be a proper sleeper. What drivetrain combo are you running?
-
• #84
Drivetrain is Shimano, Zee RD and shifter and a 5600 crankset.
Had enough black bikes so rolled this with primer (very clean paint process that)

Anyone interested in a new set of Schwable Smart Sam tyres 27.5 (650b) x 2.1" looking for £20 plus postage. Going to need to go down to a 2.0" for my Croix de Fer as it's a juuuuust too tight with the 2.1"
PM if interested

Carabo, What's the frame?
-
• #87
It's a Gossini frame, which is a bikeshop house brand. Fairly generic.

Look like any BMX U-brake. Odyssey Evo ones are really good.
Your bike looks flipping pimp by the way. Orange outers were a good call.

I know nothing of BMX. thanks!

That's what I'm thinking. I mean unless a big stone actually jams in there it's not going to damage it. Gearing with be 34-50 up front and 32-11 at the back. That should be good enough for most trails.
Bring on the winter!
