It's not really clear what they mean is it? 5% of all bikes using a d-lock get stolen? Or of all stolen bikes only 5% had been locked with a d-lock? Which would leave 22% unaccounted for?
Also what is the significance of 47 per cent of cycle theft takes place in autumn/winter months? About half are taken in autumn/winter and the other half in the other six months of the year? So what?
