• The head wind was no fun this morning, however the tailwind the night before was ace, absolutely blasted it home.

And that is the best way around: headwind in, tailwind home, second star to the right and straight on till morning

  • Mmmm I'm not so sure. Headwind in, tailwind home means leaving a little bit earlier to get in on time.

Tailwind in, headwind home means you can sleep another 5 minutes, watch some more telly, have another coffee etc and when you're doing a backshift and getting home at around 2220/2230, what difference is it to get home at 2235/2245?

  • 'saccccly what I was thinking.

  • I usually don't worry about it and just head out and find out.

    "You're late Ed"

    "Nasty headwind"

    "Fair does"

  • Horses for courses. I'm out the house by 7.20am, so tits generally a roll from bed and onto the bike. Five extra minutes in bed doesn't help, although five extra minutes cuddling the dog is always good
