Hello, could I speak to Sergeant Yewtree, please? Yes, I have a report to make regarding some Interwebs Filth. Yes, I'll hold.

Got the train again, very warm and very fast.
But I think I've got noticeably fatter in the last week! And there was a guy who wanted to fight his way past me even after I told him I was getting off too and ignoring the fact my bike was totally infront of the door. Basically meant no one could get out till he stepped back, which he didn't want to do because that would be like admitting he was a twat...
Then a woman complained to the platform manager about all the bikes on the train...8/10 lost a point for each twat encounter.

Must admit that I'm totally behind that, bikes on a rush hour train are ridic... My shin was jammed into someone's Brompton on the 8.01 from Herne Hill yesterday and that's barely even a bike!?!
Ride it or train it during rush hour, not both please... kthxbai...

Ha! Brompton, I'm talking about polo bike and full mallets and knee pads hanging off my back pack.
But it's hardly rush hour going in the opposite direction to everyone else from zones 3 to 6!
The woman complaining about bikes on the train had a set of four seats to herself!

Managed to get a seat from Stockwell > London Bridge... 7/10

Got the train in later then I would normally, buggy brigade got on at North Dulwich. Plenty of empty seats but decided they would sit with me, why do they think its acceptable to allow their angles to stand on the seats, was quiet tempted to stand on the seat myself.

Woke up hungover and jumped on the bike. Got to work with sopping wet jeans and sweating buckets due to wearing a down jacket and pedalling like hell to minimise rain contact.
4/10 - still better than the tube.

Dunno what you're talking about mate.

Woke up with a massive hangover rode to work and felt fresh as a sunflower on arrival. Starting to feel shitty again now though.

Headwind on fixed with a cold= not enjoyable in te slightest. 0.5 out of 1

The head wind was no fun this morning, however the tailwind the night before was ace, absolutely blasted it home.
And that is the best way around: headwind in, tailwind home, second star to the right and straight on till morning
-
• #4096
Mmmm I'm not so sure. Headwind in, tailwind home means leaving a little bit earlier to get in on time.
Tailwind in, headwind home means you can sleep another 5 minutes, watch some more telly, have another coffee etc and when you're doing a backshift and getting home at around 2220/2230, what difference is it to get home at 2235/2245?

'saccccly what I was thinking.
-

I usually don't worry about it and just head out and find out.
"You're late Ed"
