What are you going to try? I love experiments and those tyres.
I sadly don't have an extra pair, tho. -

Nothing particularly original. Actually, it's almost a slone of your rack'd 29er.
The roads of my commute are getting worse and worse and now there are 3 separate building sides I need to cross on the way. I'm doing it on an Alu track bike with 23/25mm tyres and the discomfort and occasional punctures are getting to me. What I'm trying to do is stop myself buying a Straggler/Nature Boy/Similar and getting caught up in the monstercross/commuter thing.
I have a Haro Mary SS and was thinking of Super Motos, big solid guards and a front rack. Not sure on bars since at the moment it's a pretty agressive fit with a flat bar. I'm running Hope M4 brakes though so wouldn't want the hassle of changing brakes/levers to try drops or anything needing areo levers.
The experiment is really to see how the weight and slowness of such a thing would balance against the comfort and robustness over 44 miles/day of year round commuting. It's not very nice to ride at the moment on its stock wired Kenda Nevegals and I'm curious to know how much difference a tyre can make.

Not much help I know, but I've just ordered a pair from a-cycles - can let you know how they cope on London's roads in a week or two. A lot of the reviews I read mentioned how surprisingly nippy they are, so fingers crossed!
Would like to try an experiment with these. Anyone got an unneeded pair that have some life left?
