  • Self installed so no one to blame but myself. Fingers crossed evans don't check returns too closely. But to be honest I think it's probably not even worth trying for a refund.

  • It's easy getting another non-drive cranks for a tenner, the hard part will be finding a 165mm one.

    Go to any bike shop and ask if they have any 165mm left cranks arm, and perhaps worth asking them to ensure the bolt are correctly torqued onto the cranks.

    It's also worth greasing the spinel a tiny bit (anti-seized) to ensure a good fit.

  • Thanks for the advice. I think I'll risk a postal return (worst case I have to pay postage), and if that fails probably replace it. Costly mistake but one I won't forget. Cheers.
